The August issue of Creativity -- which hits mailrooms this week -- features the Creativity Awards Report, our annual recap of the awards season that was. Inside, you'll find show-by-show lists of who won what, comments from award show jurors and winners, and our annual ranking of the most-awarded ads, agencies, directors, production companies, creative directors, networks and advertisers.
Crispin Porter + Bogusky topped our list of the most-awarded agencies for the third year in a row -- based on scoring that takes into account the number and level (e.g. Gold, Silver, Bronze) of awards won -- followed by TBWA/Paris, Goodby, Silverstein Partners, Wieden + Kennedy/London, and TBWA/Chiat/Day/San Francisco. Among agency networks, TBWA led the way, followed by DDB, BBDO, Ogilvy Mather and Wieden + Kennedy.
Biscuit Filmworks was the winningest production company of the year, followed by Nexus, Untitled (including satellite Reginald Pike), MJZ and Hungry Man. Noam Murro, meanwhile, was the season's most-honored director, followed by Smith Foulkes of Honda "Grrr" fame, Neill Blomkamp of Spy Films, Smuggler's Brian Beletic and Partizan team Traktor.
Honda "Grrr" Unsurprisingly, Honda's "Grrr" spot from Wieden + Kennedy/London was the winningest television spot of the year, followed by a pair of Adidas spots from TBWA/Chiat/Day/San Francisco -- "Unstoppable" and "Carry" -- the Lynx spot "Getting Dressed" from BBH/London and the Citroen C4 "Carbot" commercial from Euro RSCG/London. For TV campaigns, TAXI's set for the Canadian Film Centre's Worldwide Short Film Fest led the way, followed by Adidas work by 180/Amsterdam, TBWA/London's "Life on the PlayStation" effort, Adidas' "Impossible is Nothing" cycle from TBWA/Chiat/Day, and Mother/London's star-studded series for Orange.
In print, a campaign for the Anglican Welfare Council from Ogilvy Mather/Singapore earned the most hardware, while Fallon/N.Y.'s "Pendulum" execution for Time magazine was the winningest print and outdoor ad. Burger King's "Subservient Chicken" phenomenon from Crispin Porter + Bogusky was the standout interactive campaign of the season, while Bud's "Real Men of Genius" -- aided by the addition of a Radio Lions competition in Cannes -- led the pack in this year's radio awards.

Awards Report: The Top Ten Lists
To provide a complete awards account, Creativity has tabulated data in Raw and Cooked formats. The Raw numbers, which are available in the magazine, assign one point for every award, no matter which show, which category or which color. The Cooked scores are weighted to reflect the differences between awards. Different values have been assigned for Grand Prix/Best of Show; Gold; Silver and Bronze Awards. All awards shows are scored identically, except Cannes, which is scored at a slight premium. Here are the top ten finishers in six categories, ranked according to their weighted scores, which appear in parentheses.
